  1. I love to craft, too. I am not very good at it, though. My crafts never turn out the way I envision them to. Perhaps I can dream something up and YOU could make it since you are good at it?!?! Ha, ha!

    1. DEAL! I love making things for other people because then I don't have to decide what to make!! :)

  2. I LOVE to craft, but I can never think of anything I actually need. Did I need to make a memo board, a jewelry holder and a makeup organizer when I already had perfectly good ones. NO. Do I need to refinish 3 chairs and make 4 personalized waterbottles with my silhouette? NO. How about that rocking chair that never made it into my classroom and is in my childhood room at my parents house? Totally necessary. I feel like I am spinning my wheels for the fun of it, then shoving my projects in a closet. I would love to see someone post some good, USEFUL, ideas! Can't wait to read yours!

    1. I am right with you on making things I don't really need instead of refinishing the cute wood stool in my garage for my classroom!

  3. Reading is definitely on my Summer Bucket List! I have a stack of books waiting on me that have been there a long time. Can't wait to dig in...hopefully by the pool!
And I'm with Meredith- looking forward to seeing your crafting! I am always up for a good craft!

  4. I still have 7 1/2 weeks of school left but you've got me thinking of all the crafty things I want to do over the summer. I rescued a sweet little table and tool from being thrown away at school recently. Thinking of giving it a makeover this summer! Any ideas?

    1. Your last 7 1/2 weeks will fly by if they are anything like mine were! Is the table for your classroom? I have been on the look out for an old table to paint the top with chalkboard paint so the kids could write on it! I would love to see pics when you decide what to do!

  5. Spending time with family and friends is a hope for me this summer, too. I'm afraid my apron business has taken me from what is truly important. And I need to clean my house, too. Deep clean! I can't remember when I last dusted... happy weekend!
