My biggest accomplishment (and on going project) over my first two days of vacation was this blog! I spent two full days learning how to create new images for my blog and how to add them. I am very proud of myself and very grateful for all the tutorials that help me through {read about them here}! I am still working on my design and learning more and more about blogging and design - it has been a fun journey so far!!
My other share for this week is the beginnings of my new great room design. I have always been eclectic but with a "Tuscan" feel. You know the look - rich, deep burgundies, purples, oranges, greens, etc. Living so close to the beach for almost 10 years though has me wanting to lighten up! I am slowly but surely adding more of a "beach-ish" color scheme and look. Here is where we are so far. I am trying with all my might to pick out a new paint color - after 3 years this "Buy Me Beige" needs to go! Any suggestions are always welcome!
My new china cabinet from Silverhill Furniture - I had been eyeing this store on my way to the beach for a while, and finally found time to stop! {Custom painted by Fish River Furnishings.} The clock from Hobby Lobby really helped change the entire look of my room!
Found this old trunk in my home town at the most amazing place - Resurrection! Tons of fantastic repurpose finds!
Another great find on the way to the beach Big Fish Trading Co.
I have a lot of craft plans and hope that with the help of this linky, I will stay focused and bet things done!
What have you made? Comment below and link up with 4th Grade Frolics and My Pinterventures: Merry Monday and share!
