Wordless Wednesday - Halloween!

Happy Wednesday! Thank you to Miss DeCarbo for this fun and quick linky!

This year we have cut back on the number of "parties" allowed in class. The only "parties" we can have are at Christmas and the end of the year. During other holidays we can have a special snack during our 15 minute snack time. As hard as it was for me to let go of all the fun games treats I have done in the past, I think it turned out really nice!

Halloween Special Snack - A+ to the amazing mom that made these too cute cookies for the kiddos to enjoy during snack time!

Halloween with my beautiful nieces!

Love spending the weekends with these girls!

  1. Those snacks look so good! Due to health rules, we aren't allowed to have homemade treats and everything needs to be store-bought. We used to do a school-wide Halloween costume parade (favorite book character) but that slipped away, too. For Christmas, my teaching partner and I tried to show a holiday movie that is also a book so we could do a compare/contrast. Honestly, it gave us a quick break to tidy up the room and stuff report card envelopes before the holiday break! Phew!

  2. Those spider cookies are adorable. We get 3 parties a year, Halloween, Christmas and Valentines. For Halloween we had different fun stations and then for our food we had 1 sweet treat, some fruit and juice. Any candy the kids bring to share we pass out and the kiddos take it home to enjoy with their family.
